This paper explains the organizational development process, and its several phases, to be used by a Jakarta non-governmental organization (NGO) to develop a training project and a transport development project for the region. The paper presents the assessment, human resources and training, financial resources, lobbying, implementation and feedback and control phases for the projects. The paper stresses that the organization development process must be adapted to the specifics and particularities of this Jakarta organization itself, especially its need to understand the Eastern Indonesia area.

From the Paper:

"The organization is now focusing on developing two distinct projects in the region. One refers to a training project consisting of diversified seminars by which the local population can be better integrated in commercial flows within the country and by which they can be more competitive in trading their products on the local market, while also reducing their isolation. The second is a transport development project, and the organization's role in this project is to lobby the government so that enough funds can be allocated for this initiative and more transport routes can be subsequently developed in the respective Indonesian region."
