The paper discusses how the issue of climate change is of concern both on a local issue and on a global issue. The paper asserts that it is a matter for long-term study and work; the changes that produced climate change did not occur in a year and will not be corrected in the short-term, either. The paper argues that many good reasons exist to "go green" and work to create a cleaner environment. This paper addresses three issues related to climate change, the impact that they have on the environment, and the manner in which their impact can be reduced.

From the Paper:

"Whether we want to admit it or not, climate change is upon us. The Earth is slowly but surely warming, affecting the planet's ability to support plant life, to sustain bodies of water, and to eliminate pollutants from the air. Unless the Earth's inhabitants work together to reduce the issues impacting with the environment, it is possible that this planet will some day be unable to support life as we know it. Fortunately, if a unified effort is made now, then it is possible to reduce the damage being done to the environment today and, in turn, ensure a safe and clean environment for generations yet to come."
