"Person-centered therapy was a term used by Carl Rogers and his associates in 1974, which Rogers considered to be the most descriptive of his value framework, given the eventual variety and increasing number of fields of application. The person-centered approach eventually came to applied to work with couples, families, groups, education, and even international politics.
