This paper outlines the five organizational and behavior concepts and relates them to the American Express organization. It explains how American Express implements the five behaviors into their prospective departments and although each department may have the five basic functions, not all departments use the same definition. It explains that this is a theme that is prominent with companies, because of the very nature of how diversification works.
