The paper focuses on three main changes that will have implications for the future of organization and staffing. The paper discusses how the "flattening" of the world has led to greater accessibility to fill staffing needs from cheap labor in developing nations, how organizations are changing to a more horizontal chain of command rather than the traditional vertical hierarchy format and finally, the staffing needs of most organizations will no longer be controlled by internal human resources, but by external human resource companies.

From the Paper:

"Organization and staffing needs have dramatically changed in the modern era due to the influence of both corporate expansion as well as new innovations in human resource management. The changes in the context of our future will show that organization and staffing demands will become radically different than in today's society. By perfecting new techniques that have been developed in the past few years to new heights, by 2011, our organization and staffing needs will be met in a much more bilateral formula than today's hierarchy. There are several new techniques that will expand in the next few years with the help of lessons learned from globalization and the changing dynamics of human resource management (Champy 159)."
