"Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) was once thought to be a rare mental disease. However, is now known to be one of the highest-ranking psychological problems. About 2 percent of the population between ages 18 to 54 suffers from OCD, which outranks mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or panic disorder (Phillipson).
