From the Paper:

''Human resource department is a very critical part of all businesses that enjoys a central role in determining the policies of a company. As part of the technological evolution, new technologies are being introduced in the human resource department to make things simpler and modernized. The role information systems plays in HR has become pivotal with the advent of the internet. Information systems in HR also includes the computerization of employee records and databases and to maintain an updated account of HR decisions that have been taken or need to be taken as part of the human resource management plan. The four main areas of HR that are most impacted by information systems are payroll, time and labor management, employee benefits and HR management. Information systems make these four functions more easy and smooth. A Human Resources Information System (HRIS) makes all the details of an employee available at a click of the mouse including his position in the company, personal details, payroll records and benefits information.''
