The paper describes a host of technologies and how organizations, companies, even countries, are taking full advantage of breakthroughs in ICT. The paper starts by briefly defining some major technological systems/tools that are now available and then lists how entities in the tourism and hospitality sectors are using them. From there, the paper lists five minor technologies or tools, defines them in brief, and then highlights examples of where each of them has been used effectively in both the hospitality and tourism sectors. The paper shows that there are a host of ICT tools available - some major, some minor - and each one can improve the bottom line.
