From the Paper:

"Environmental psychology can be defined as an interdisciplinary science that studies a relationship between human behavior and their environment. Environment in this sense encompasses a broad range of physical and social settings, both on micro and macro levels. Environmental psychologists, then, must deal with climatic, geographical, architectural, ecological, physical and social features of the environment simultaneously in order to explain various physiological, behavioral and psychological responses of humans to the complexity of their surroundings (Veitch, R., 1995). Beside explanation, environmental psychology's main concern is to find useful applications of research findings to the real life problems in order to optimize human well-being and functioning, and to preserve a natural environment."
