"Heart disease or cardiovascular disease (CVD) refers to an abnormal organic condition affecting either only the heart or both the heart and the body's circulation. Specifically, cardiovascular disease is defined as any disease or injury affecting the cardiovascular system, which consists of the heart, heart blood vessels and the blood vessel system that includes the arteries and veins within the brain and throughout the body (What is and About Heart, 2007.). According to the American Heart Association (AHA), diseases classified under CVD include rheumatic heart disease, coronary heart disease (ischemic heart disease and coronary artery disease), high blood pressure or hypertension and stroke or brain attack."Sample of Sources Used:
