This paper presents a research proposal to a real business problem. The paper discusses how data will be collected, analyzed and reported and examines ethical issues that may arise through the research. The paper specifically explores team members' support or opposition to a business proposal and discusses their reasoning in order to ascertain if the proposal can be implemented.
From the Paper:"Strong ethical and confidentiality issues come into play in carrying out this research. Team members may be reluctant to speak freely if they believe their views may be revealed to management. Hence it is critical that data remain strictly confidential and are presented in an anonymous summary form once the research is completed. From an ethical perspective it is important that team members and management agree to approach this research process with an open mind, acknowledging a priori that their opinion may be changed in the process of the research."
