From the Paper:

"The last area of the company that needs to have a CRM system included within it is the integration of the WPPS to the call centre and PRM suites of applications, specifically the quote-to-order application. Integrating these systems together will allow the WPPS to be more demand-driven and responsive to customer requirements. It is critical in fact for Killeen to begin thinking of how their indirect channel strategies; specifically those aimed at generating additional sales through boutique liquor retailers and from franchisees, will impact their supply chain and ability to forecast demand. The proposed integration between the WPPS, call centre applications, PRM and quote-to-order applications is a vital part of the backbone of the proposed CRM system as well, as research indicates that supply chains are increasingly a vital part of the overall go-to-market strategies of companies specific to how they make and keep commitments to customers (Gunasekaran, Lai, Cheng, 2008)."
