Homeostatic Regulation after Rattlesnake Bite The venomous eastern diamondback rattlesnake remains a serious threat to any animal or human that comes into contact with the species. Although antivenin can be found reasonably easily throughout the region the eastern diamondback inhabits, should an attack victim fail to acquire this remedy, the ability for the body to maintain its homeostasis becomes an overwhelming danger to that person.
