This paper argues that the individual's right to posses a gun must be prohibited and restricted in all cases as guns are a dangerous weapon for society and its inhabitants. The paper asserts that in the cases of robberies and assaults as well as muggings, the victims are in grave danger and more likely to be killed if the criminal and the perpetrator are armed. The paper also reveals that residents of houses where there is a gun present are around five times more expected to experience or commit suicide than those people who do not have a gun.

From the Paper:

"Guns are generally considered to be inherently dangerous and in the hands of criminal minded dangerous people they prove to be fatal for others and can be exploited for extremely dreadful consequences. The paper agrees that as there is great risk in the ownership of a gun there should be strict rules, regulations and laws for gun control and the use of gun should be decreased and limited.
"The possession of guns prove to be vitally dangerous for the society and its inhabitants because it for one who is in possession of such a dangerous weapon as a gun becomes easy to kill a person or injure him and cause great damage to him (A Case For Gun Control). As it is said that in the United States in various years, more than half of all murder victims were those killed with firearms. There were many victims of firearms that are left permanently disabled scarring them forever in physical and psychological terms and bringing great anguish to them as well as to their families. Guns facilitate killing at a distance, giving the user a feeling that he does not risk personal injury when attacking another (Gun Control 1)."
