The writer of this paper asserts that his/her father is an example of a person with integrity even during the long days of his illness. The writer opines that integrity means standing true to a person's beliefs and morals even during the difficult times; a person with true integrity never wavers. The writer posits that his/her father was a role model of integrity throughout every life circumstance.
From the Paper:"Integrity is a part of a person's character. It is their beliefs, values, and morals. It is the core value of what shapes in an individual. Many people maintain integrity in specific areas of their lives. When people are at work and know they are being watched, it is easy for them to stay faithful to their beliefs. For example, a person would never dream of stealing something at work. Yet, they might take little things from other places. For instance, when a checker gives them $20 extra because they miscounted, the person will keep the $20. Or, it could be the other way around. A person would never dream of taking something or stealing. Yet, when it comes to work, they may take a pencil, tablet, or etc. In special circumstances, a person may not keep their morals and values, but a person with true integrity never dreams of breaking their values or morals. They are strong, and regardless of the circumstances they stay true to what they believe."
