Narrative: A Day in the Life of Dr. Lynn

From the Paper:

"Finding a professional to interview for this summation proved somewhat challenging. After a month attempting to interview the main psychologist at the Veteran Affairs office, I had to give up, as she was far too busy in terms of traveling and other responsibilities. As an alternative, I approached Dr. Lynn. She is a doctor at a smaller office, and finally indicated her willingness to speak to me for 15 minutes. She responded only after I left 10 voicemails and made two visits to the Veteran Affairs office.
"Also, Dr. Lynn requested me to supply her with paperwork from the class and to fax a copy of the questions I intended to ask. I believe she did this to orient herself regarding the direction of my questions. I feel that she might have been uncertain about the interview because she was not familiar with the school. I also spoke to her prior to the interview and was led to believe that she might have been somewhat uncomfortable with the interview in general. Hence it is possible that she might have answered the questions only on a topical level. It must be recognized that this could be a limiting factor in obtaining accurate information from the interview answers to be used for this task."
