Description:

"I Am Legend" is a powerful story of a man facing the world on his own in postmodern New York after a man-made virus has wiped out every human being on earth who is not immune to its clutches. Some of those who possessed immunity were literally killed and consumed by the subhuman bloodthirsty nocturnal creatures that were a result of the affects of the man-made virus on human beings. The main character in the film, Doctor Robert Neville, is also the man responsible for the virus and the demise of not only the human race, but also his own family, and possibly himself, even though he displays immunity to the illness. He must learn to protect himself and fend off the night dwellers with his German Shepard sidekick, Sam, and continue to seek an antidote for this horrendous blight that was put upon the earth.
