From the Paper:"The Glasser model is a concept for educational practices that was designed by William Glasser, a psychiatrist who believed that individuals had to behave realistically within the structure of the world. The model itself relies on the idea that students have the ability to control their own behavior and that they can do so rationally. With their rational minds students, therefore, know that if they behave badly, they will receive some form of punishment. Likewise, they also realize that if they behave as good students, they will be rewarded for decent acts, ("Seven", n.d., p.1). Glasser also contends that it is the teacher's responsibility to lead students toward the realization of good behavior and toward making good choices."
