This paper begins by describing the meaning of a workplace dispute. From the Paper:"A dispute is occurring in the workplace between department managers and the human resource manager who is responsible for implementing a work improvement committee. The work improvement committee has an employee from each department, with the team meeting each week to discuss ideas on how to improve anything related to improvement, whether it be improving working conditions or improving how work is completed. The department managers are in dispute with the human resource manager claiming that the committee achieves nothing while taking away their staff each week. The department managers also feel that the one employee on the team is being given too much power and that this is creating problems within their department. The department managers are asking that the committee be discontinued."
