From the Paper:

"Anorexia nervosa is a dangerous eating disorder which is characterized by extremely low body weight, a distorted image of self and an intense fear of becoming fat. This psychological illness usually afflicts young people at the onset of puberty who are more conscious about their appearance as compared to older generations. These teenagers starve themselves and try to lose weight by excessive exercise, diet pills, laxatives and other means even if they are not over-weight. This desire to lose weight becomes an obsession and more dangerously, an addiction."
