From the Paper:"Before my visit to the museum I did not know a great deal about Eric Carle. I knew that he was a children's book writer and illustrator and that he has many books that one can purchase at stores and on-line. He is an interesting man whose artwork is known for its collage technique and he is well-known for the books that he has illustrated, all of which are part of the permanent collection at the museum. Many of his books are read during the storyteller sessions at the museum, which I was able to experience. "
