This paper discusses the constant pressure and stress that students with disabilities at Lehigh University suffer from. The paper describes the facilities and the grounds at the University and how they add to a student's difficulties. It also discusses the peer judgment and sometimes even discrimination to which disabled students are subjected at Lehigh. In addition, the paper presents personal accounts of problems at Lehigh.

From the Paper:

"Impaired students at Lehigh also suffer a lot from campus lands. From a personal point of view, I find it very challenging to move around campus, for example, from my dormitory to my classes, or even to the dining hall; so I can't even imagine how difficult and frustrating it must be for someone who is in a wheelchair. In my opinion, the disabled must be very strong both physically and mentally to achieve this every day task. Furthermore, I have a friend who recently broke his leg, and he cannot walk to his classes. He needs someone who can drive him there; which is often very frustrating for him, as his normal routine is now completely changed. In his own words, he said that it is both "very tiring" and "frustrating". Having a broken leg for a few weeks or even a few months can be a real nightmare, so I can only imagine how painful it must be for someone at Lehigh who has been in a wheelchair for years, even more challenging here at Lehigh, considering the snow and ice on campus right now."
