From the Paper:"Radiation meters can be used for professional and personal use in measuring radiation present in transformers, electrical devices and power lines. Such meters are used very effectively in research and development as also in the industrial sector for various functions, and essentially must be of calibrated standards certified as DIN ISO 9000 and must have other extensions with use of accessories. Radiation meters were acquired by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense in view of concerns for safety in an ever increasing risk of radiation threats that do not enable the sensing of such a calamity by sight, smell hearing, tasting or feeling until the damage has been done and people start suffering from its consequences.
