This paper reviews "The Idiot", the Dostoevsky novel about two women competing for the love of a prince. The author compares and contrasts the actions and motivations of the two women, concluding that the competition between them reveals more similarities than differences.
From the Paper:"Aglaya seems to represent the good and Nastasya the bad. Aglaya is the child and Nastasya the woman. Perhaps the differences in how they were raise and by whom is the only difference these two women share. Doestovsky shows how the same woman brought up under different circumstances can develop being similar yet different."
