This paper takes a look the American culture and the Saudi Arabian culture. The author describes the American culture as a multicultural one and talks about the common element found in American's multicultural society - individualism. Next, the author discusses how oil-rich Saudi Arabia has been and still is influenced by Islam despite her economic upraise and urban growth. In conclusion, the author notes that although the core cultural values of these countries are vastly different, many similarities such as religious salvation and freedom can be found.
