From the Paper:
"The past decade has brought about numerous changes in terms of all aspects of life. The business community has most likely been a domain that felt most of the consequences of the modifications. For instance, when more emphasis was placed on human rights, employees' on-the-job satisfaction, increased levels of compensation or work safety, the companies had to invest additional financial resources to respond to these demands. Then, as the customer was presented with increased product and service offering, his requests exponentially increased, forcing as such economic agents to adapt, advance and satisfy new needs. More recently still, the emergence of the globalizing forces further pushed entrepreneurs to develop highly professional strategies that allowed them to address and satisfy an international market. The most prominent tool in achieving this desiderate, and the global revenues that come with it, is the development and implementation of the most adequate international marketing strategies. Shoe and apparel manufacturer Nike Incorporated is a most notable example of an organization that has succeeded in the global context due to highly professional international marketing schemes.
