The company is headquartered at California Los Angeles and has numerous local and international subsidiaries. Over the years, the company has evolved to become one of the leading multinational companies in the field of information technology. The company offers a wide range of services ranging from computer systems hardware and software as well as information technology consulting services. Additionally, the company offers a numerous computing products and peripherals such as personal computers, networking devices, servers, storage products, software products as well as printers and other imaging devices to both consumers and business clients (Hewlett-Packard Development Company, 2011).
"Over the years, Hewlett Packard Company has made several mergers and acquisitions in a bid to optimize its business potential. For instance, it has acquired firms such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Mercury Interactive and Compaq expanding its market share.
