From the Paper:

''We plan to gain a loyal customer base, in light of the fact that our business idea is consistent with the growing trend for health awareness in the United States. We estimate our initial capital investment requirements to be about $90,000. We plan to raise that amount from an initial investment of $10,000 from each of the three founders and debt financing of $60,000 to be repaid in two years. We plan to initially organize Fast 'n Fresh as a Limited Liability Company, converting to a corporate form once we expand to the regional level. We plan to commence operations in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where we expect to gain an ultimate 5% market share of the $20 million market, or $1 million annual revenues. We forecast positive net income of over $86,000 in the first year of operations, growing each year during our forecast, and we estimate a return on equity of approximately 300% for the first year.''
''Fast 'n Fresh is essentially a nutritious fast-food restaurant that we hope to turn into a franchise chain. It responds to customer needs for convenience, particularly in the northeastern United States, while providing healthy, fresh, and organic meal options in contrast to the notoriously unhealthy menu items offered by traditional fast-food restaurants. Potential menu offerings might include such items as salads, grilled chicken, nutritious sandwiches, fresh vegetable sticks, fruit cups, yogurt, and the like. The business model will involve starting several restaurants in a defined area to gain brand recognition. Once we have established our name, we will expand regionally by franchising the restaurant to individuals, and, ultimately, we hope to expand nationally by the same means.''
