From the Paper:

"Even if we were to take on Iraq, in our assumed notion that it is a threat to the democratic world there must be a solution that would not entail annihilating thousands of innocent civilians. If we do believe in the act or decision of a war with Iraq, then we should certainly gear up for a war with North Korea, Russia, Iran and China. These countries too are famous for supporting terrorism, and running dictatorial regimes, in contradiction of the internationally accepted democratic norms. (Lloyd, 2002) Iran for instance has been known to have harbored Muslim extremists like the leader Khamenei who promote the groups HAMAS, the Palestine Islamic Jihad, and the PFLP-GC. If going to war with Iraq were justified, then so would be going to war against Iran and a handful of other countries."
