From the Paper:

"Can the death penalty help in any way to bring peace to the family of a child that has been murdered? Certainly the first reaction to murder would be to murder the individual. However, those living in the United States have a way to gain personal revenge by letting the court system decide the penalty. How does the death penalty show caring for the victims' families? The victims are dead, and no execution can possible bring them back to life. Few people find closure when the murdered is executed. The victim is gone and relatives are suffering from it, the relatives of family members of the murderer suffer knowing they will be put to death (Fight 1).
"Those on death row need to be forgiven as much as any other crime. Often Christians cry the loudest for the death penalty forgetting that the Bible says every one needs to be forgiven."
