"O'Malley and Rozenzweig's musings about the web and its future are not found compelling if for not other reason than its content and context are so out-of-date as to not command any sort of relatable currency. Their "concerns" if that is what they really are, are generalized references to the then state of what they think the internet is, and then they back up those dated conceptions with examples which are also no longer relevant; such as beginning the article with a discussion of Netscape's irrationally priced market capitalization, which I will admit they were right about - but so what?
