Description:
This paper focuses its analysis on former President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal legislation and the resulting alphabet agencies, and how they helped to temporarily resolve the great Depression, but did not effectively take on the long-term effects of big business privation that had resulted in the Stock Market Crash of 1929. In many ways, the paper asserts, Roosevelt's administration did not address the Keynesian theory of governmental regulation, which had not been implemented at a more effective rate of growth through governmental regulation of inflation.
