From the Paper:

"This can include the history about a person's allergy, blood group, significant conditions, current medication, organ donor, alerts and other details according to patient preferences. In order to maintain accuracy and include current details, the information in a patient's Emergency Screen would be largely a by-product of other information sources. Therefore, some information would be setup once, e.g. blood group, while other information would be a summary of information taken from clinical and message systems. This information may include GP summary, referral and discharge letters, and electronic transmission of prescriptions."
