"Operators of the equipment should not stand unnecessarily close to the equipment, especially the cave entrance for the insertion of material. This is because good radiation safety always begins with concentrating on maintaining maximum distance from direct exposure to sources, and always operating the equipment with speed and efficiency so as to reduce exposure time."
