More exactly, the wishes are what Freud refers to as unconscious motivations which are unacceptable to the individual and are almost always erotic in nature. The following discussion provides a dream analysis from a Freudian perspective. Specifically, analysis is based on a dream involving a ride on a train through a long dark tunnel and the image of a beautiful person of the opposite sex. Discussion is directed at answering questions related to significance of the train, unknown destination, inability to find a set, tunnel, the man/woman, six course meal, and that the dreamer believes that the man/woman will join him/her for the meal.
