This paper attempts to mix the three concepts of Feng Shui, Hui and Macao. It is basically argued in this paper that the Chinese government has been using the Feng Shui method to incorporate ethnic groups and territories.

From the Paper:

"China is a very large country. Although many people think that China has a very homogenous population nothing is further from the truth. China is actually a collection of different ethnic groups and territories within a contentious whole. The success that China has had with integrating ethnic groups and territories has largely been related to the policies that were dominant at the time. This essay will look at how a new approach has been used to achieve a greater level of cohesion between the different units within China."
