From the Paper:

"The "dot.com bubble", which took place starting sometime in 1995 and ending right around the year 2001, was a time when internet businesses rapidly soared into success, with many companies seeing their stock prices shoot up just by turning their company name into one with a ".com" suffix. During this time, many people found quick success, becoming overnight millionaires, but, as the video "Dot.com Dot.gone" shows, these overnight successes lost everything just as quickly as they gained it."
