Canada in Afghanistan Analytical Essay by Master Researcher

This paper argues that Canada should withdraw her troops from Afghanistan. The writer points out that Canadian involvement in the war in Afghanistan has been ongoing since the conflict began in 2001, and what began as a peacekeeping mission in support of the United States against the Taliban has become something different largely because of American involvement in the war in Iraq. The writer discusses that the continued presence of Canadian troops in Afghanistan can today be seen as support for the wider war the United States is waging in the Middle East.
