Informal Proposal
Formal Proposal
Report: "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns"

From the Paper:

"One concern that arose regarding limitation is the fact that many people do not have the time to be as involved with Hosseini in humanitarian work, and his overall social mission seems to be one of many as far as the oppressed common folk of Third World countries around the world. There is such a disparity of wealth and food that there are many more countries like Afghanistan whose people are suffering and need to be helped by the U.N. This limits the effectiveness of the social message of Hosseini while emphasizing the artistic accomplishment."
