"E-commerce has become the buzzword for the computer industry with the emergence of the Internet. It had revolutionized mode of business dealing in such a manner that now every kind of business big or small both developed the need for being online. However, e-commerce cannot function without middlemen / agents. Basically business entities act like raw materials. They work in physical environment to produce goods and services. While the Internet is a technological phenomenon. It is not an everyday occurrence that a company can simply "walk" into the Internet and enjoy the experience. They need middlemen to gradually bring closer to technology. This middle agent type of business have mushroomed over the past years drastically because the demand for leading service / product manufacturers to be online. As a result middlemen are able to find a niche for themselves. In fact this group of industries has been growing so much that outsiders and different category of industry groups cannot help be attracted by it. Names like IBM, Oracle, Microsoft is some examples that work in this genre together with their other products. For this reason there have risen a host of competitive companies."
