This paper traces the AIDS virus and its presence throughout the social order. According to the paper, with AIDS, mankind learned that a disease that had the potential of destroying mankind had finally emerged. AIDS was initially thought to be the result of homosexual encounters, drug addiction or connected to different social cultures in some manner.
