This paper discusses the observation that young African-American women have a high proclivity to sell drugs or are perceived to sell drugs at a higher rate than other races such as their young Caucasian counterparts. A study is discussed that first examines the literature relevant to the youth sensation seeking behavior in adolescence and how these behaviors can lead to young adult drug related behavior. Additionally, the methodology is to be a quantitative survey taken of a study population utilizing a control group as well as a dependent and independent variable.
