From the Paper:"In an article called, "Should I Go to Graduate School," it asks five questions that relate to the reasons I have chosen to go to graduate school and study to obtain a MBA. The first question is "Why do I want to go to graduate school" (Graduate 1). Although many of my friends have college degrees and are married, this I delayed by taking a blue-collar job with major chemical company as a process operator. As I have applied myself to my work, my salary increased to nearly double that of my friends. The problem is that this is shift work and there are no definite hours of work. For a single person, this is great. However, some day I would like a wife and children. At that time I want to have a flexible schedule that will allow me to be with my family. By getting a MBA degree, I will be able to know that I can take a few hours off as long as I apply myself to do the best work that I can do.
""What are my career goals? Will graduate school assist me in meeting my career goals" (Graduate 1)? I have worked for a major chemical company for several years, now I would like to go into the business side of the company. I have applied myself and doubled the wages of many of my friends who have degrees. I believe that it is time to progress in my companies by obtaining a graduate degree where I can go into the white-collar part of business."
