From the Paper:

"Some of these advanced fields of specialization may be medicine, biotechnology or advanced chemistry, which will allow me to perform biochemical, physiological, genomic, clinical, and social science researches. These may be a long way off because I need to be able to gain admission as a nutrition science major first but I am a person who likes setting short, medium and long range plans, and see how I am doing. Besides, knowing that I have a personal stake in being able to learn there is about nutrition science is a strong goal enough. I know that in wanting to help my father and learn better ways of managing his diabetes, I am also paving the way to help others with similar or like conditions.
"It may be too early though to really pinpoint the specialization I want to get into but following graduation from nutrition science, the three general options for me are graduate school, dietetic internship or medical school. However, I think it will be appropriate first to enter the work force and gain real live work experience in the various careers available for a nutrition science graduate. I can do nutrition communications including nutrition education and outreach programs for businesses, governments, and community organizations. Being an understudy for a nutrition scientist/researcher is also a viable option."
