"Due to my passion for sciences including physics, my intended major is mechanical engineering. Being interested in developing a better world through engineering, I believe that my avid interest in machines and structures can achieve this objective. Earlier in my academic career, I was uninterested in my studies and my grades reflected this fact. Once I tasted the knowledge of physics class, I immediately turned my grades around. The motivation I received was unimaginable and I realized this is what I needed to do in the future.
