From the Paper:
"Thank you in advance for your consideration of my application for a summer internship position with the US Army JAG Corps."I have a strong desire to serve my country in a meaningful way, and also I am very interested in issues of law and justice, so this could be a wonderful and empowering experience for me. It is very interesting to me that George Washington, one of my heroes from American history and a man of incredible courage, leadership abilities, and vision founded the U.S. Army JAG Corps.
"Also of great interest to me is the fact that the U.S. Army JAG Corps presents serious challenges to interns. In my social, educational and professional life I have always thrived and even excelled on challenges.
"I have always prided myself in being self-motivated and in being a quick learner. I have excellent listening skills and have been trained in people-to-people skills. I greatly enjoy and fully respond to serious challenges put before me in terms of tasks to be learned and completed with a sense of thoroughness and commitment to excellence.
"Thinking quickly and intelligently on my feet, being able to respond to the immediacy of problems and issues before me - these are traits that I have acquired and fine-tuned thanks to the quality of life my parents created for me and thanks to my education and to those close friends and colleagues I have collaborated with over the years."
