"Here is my academic background which I believe qualifies me for the program. I started my bachelor's degree program at New York University-Leonard N. Stern School of Business, from September 2007, to July 2010. My cumulative GPA is 3.53, on a scale of 4.0. I was a member of the Dean's List and Honor Roll in the year 2009, and graduated with Honor Key. I have many areas of interest in the field of Finance as my interest is drawn to the field of research in asset trading and management. I completed my Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration with a minor in Finance at George Washington University from September 2005, to May 2007. My cumulative GPA was 3.75 on a scale of 4.0. I also met the Dean's list at George Washington University in 2005, and 2006. This strong academic background in Finance and Business provides me with a strong launch pad to continue with my quest for knowledge through your prestigious and well respected MA program in Economics. I have acquired unique job related experiences which makes me a distinctive applicant to a top economics graduate school. I am well prepared for graduate-level courses involving analysis, mathematical statistics, and multivariable calculus. This combination of Mathematics and Finance has augmented my comprehension of basic theories, which has sharpened my problem-solving and analytical skills.
