"When I was little, most of my friends wanted to be ballerinas or firemen. Some wanted to become teachers or doctors. We begin to dream of what we will be at a very early age. Perhaps this is due to the human need for self-fulfilment, or simply the need to do something useful or beautiful with our lives. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of a career in a pharmacy. Now that I have the opportunity to apply to St. John's University, it looks like I might finally have the rare opportunity to make this dream a reality. Certainly, many of my ballerina, firemen, teacher or doctor friends now stand in other careers, chosen later with a bit more wisdom. I like to think that my initial decision was wise. To be a pharmacist is my dream career.'I think the main thing that motivated my decision is the combination of working in an environment where one can be directly helpful to people and where one can work with the science of healing. I love to work with scientifically proven formulae, but also to help people on a very personal level."
