Leadership, Bill George and Starbucks Term Paper by The Research Group

This paper considers traditional approaches to leadership (transformational, transactional and charisma) and the five dimensions of authentic leadership (purpose, values, heart, compassion and self-discipline) that are supported by five developmental qualities (passion, behavior, compassion, connectedness and consistency, respectively). The items that an individual orders at Starbucks are also considered for hints that might be provided as to the type of leadership those orders indicate.
