Package volume growth at FedEx Ground increased in an accelerated way during the second half of 2006. However, revenues at FedEx Kinko's grew in a slightly manner, due to the slowing down resulting from the more competitive environment for copies."
"The activity of FedEx is seasonal. These seasonal changes affect volumes, sales and earnings. In general, there is an augment in volumes during late November and December and low volumes throughout the first and third fiscal quarters."
